Betty Dylan Foundation was started in 2017 by Betty Muwanga.
I was inspired by my Mother who used to help young girls and boys with food, sanitation and other social needs. I was my mother's only child and I had no brother, no sister. My mother died when I turned eight years. I was left to grow up in the hands of my step Dad at that time he was the only one I still had. Unfortunately I lost him too when I was 14 years.
By that time things became harder, finding food, shelter and the needs of a girl until I found my Daphine who later became my friend. She introduced me to some of her friends who gave me shelter. I stayed with them for a good time but by 2016 I had lost all of them.
